Free, for any group
Workshops we run for schools and libraries
We bring the kit, run the session, and leave the guides behind. There is no charge for these, and your group does not need to own a single VEX part.
This is separate from the club. Nobody has to join anything, and no student needs to become a clubber afterwards. If a school in Calgary wants an hour of robotics for a class that has never seen a robot, that is the whole ask.

Upcoming workshops
Nothing is on the calendar right now. We book these directly with a school, a library or a group rather than setting dates in advance, so the way to get one is to ask.

If you want more than a workshop
The programs we run
A workshop is one session. A program is a season — a class or a competition team that meets all year. They are different things, and they are priced differently, so here is the difference in full:
Workshops
Free
One session, at your school, library or group. We bring the kit. Nothing to pay and nothing to sign up for.
Classes and competition teams
Member-supported
A full season, with parts, field elements and tournament entries behind it, so there is a fee. Email admin@vexkan.ca or call 403-404-9033 for more details.
VEX IQ Foundation Classes
VEX IQ Competition Teams
VEX V5RC Competition Teams
Request a workshop for your school or library
Four fields and a rough date. We will come back to you with what we can actually run and when.
Ask us anything
Questions about robotics are welcome even if your group never books anything. We are students ourselves, so during build season and competition weekends replies can take a while.
